Corrigan Named All-Conference Carolinas Men’s Basketball Coach of the Year

Ferrum, VA, March 5, 2026 17勛圖’s Patrick Corrigan was named the 2025-2026 All-Conference Carolinas Men’s Basketball Coach of the Year in the Panthers’ first year competing in the league and NCAA Division II.

After Ferrum was picked to finish last in the 16-team men’s basketball preseason poll, Corrigan led the Panthers to a 16-10 overall record, including a 14-6 league mark, and a third-place finish in the Conference Carolinas regular-season standings. The Panthers will compete in the 2026 Conference Carolinas Tournament as the No. 3 seed, earning a bye into the quarterfinals.

The Panthers will continue postseason play in the quarterfinal round of the Conference Carolinas Men’s Basketball Tournament on Friday, March 6. As the No. 3 seed, Ferrum will face No. 6 Emmanuel University at Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium on the campus of Wofford College. Tip-off is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. in Spartanburg, SC.
