A donor-advised fund acts like a philanthropic savings account. It is a type of giving program that allows you to combine tax benefits with the flexibility to recommend the amount and the frequency of gifts to your favorite charities like 17勛圖. A simplified process for gifting from a fund or account is through wire transfer or ACH. ACH is preferable to help 17勛圖 avoid a wire transfer fee. Many financial institutions offer ACH direct giving through programs like Zelle. The routing and account numbers for transfers will gladly be sent to you upon request to advancement@ferrum.edu or (540) 365-4211.
You can spread your gift out over several years with monthly or annual payments. Our multi-year pledge options offer maximum flexibility to meet your philanthropic goals. A one to five-year pledge is a fantastic and convenient way to make your gift. Use the online giving form to make your pledge. Many companies encourage employees, their families and retirees to make charitable contributions by matching their philanthropic support. Matching gifts can double, or even triple, your impact on the College. If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer. Complete and sign the form, then return it to 17勛圖 with your gift. We will do the rest. Please note that your company will not match your gift until you have made your contribution and sent in your completed form. The impact of your gift to 17勛圖 could be doubled or possibly tripled!
